A brief word about our resources
Every person who has trusted Christ, having heard and believed the gospel of our salvation, has received the Spirit of God (Eph 1:13; 1 Cor 12:13). Paul explains this receipt of the Spirit as a prerequisite for knowing the things of God. He says:
“Now we have received… the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.” — 1 Corinthians 2:12 (KJV)
If these resources seem difficult to understand, you're not alone. Paul goes on to say:
"But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned" - 1 Corinthians 2:14 KJV.
That's why the gospel is the start point — the most important thing for us all to know and believe. It's the only means of salvation in this age of grace. And when we believe it we are made complete in Christ immediately — we are sealed with the holy Spirit of promise and can start our journey of learning and growth, in our walk with God If you read or listen to these resources, you'll see that the clarity of the gospel it the primary goal, as God would have all men to be saved and come unto the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:3-4).
