This book traces the believer’s journey in the Scripture - from salvation, to identity, to renewal, to the walk of the new man, to the hope of glory. 

It culminates by bringing all of these truths together to look at what it means to stand fast — rooted, grounded, and built up in Christ.

Paul’s desire for every believer is not simply that we understand these truths, but that we continue in them — walking by faith, strengthened by the Spirit, renewed in the mind, and abounding with thanksgiving.

This is the lifelong Christian walk: not striving, not performing, not imitating, but standing fast in Christ, and growing in the strength of the new man.
